39 EB 4.3.84. Post-Antique Pottery. Maiolica. Jug. Form 6/7. Body fragment of “belly of ladder medallion” jug. T. 0.6. Hard-fired, well-levigated fabric with a rare tiny inclusion < 0.1 mm. Good adhesive and shiny white glaze inside and out. Decorated on the exterior only with bands in diluted pale yellow, green and brown framed by what appears to be a ladder in navy blue. Probably late 16th century
