24 EB 4.2.53. Transport Amphorae. Iberian Amphorae. Dressel 2-4 Tarraconensis. Typologically this amphora is very close to the Italian Dressel 2-4 amphorae, which is characterised by its long bifid handles and a more or less cylindrical body with a solid spike. The neck is quite high and the shoulders have a sharp carination at the junction with the body. The rim is simple and rounded. Fragment of solid spike rounded at the base. H. 5.8, Ø 5.4. An orange-red fabric, 5YR 6/6 reddish yellow. None of the original surface treatment is preserved, but there is a shallow groove above the base on the exterior surface, 2.5YR 6/6 light red
