20 EK 3.1 (Δ 02-1350). Sculpture in marble. Fountain. The block structure has a profiled border along the two long sides and the upper short end of all four sides; on the front are the remnants of lion’s head. H. 27, L. 23, W. 20. Fine-grained marble. The surface has completely disintegrated and the underlying marble is now sugary, dark yellow to brown. The lion’s head is very worn, and only on the right hand side the animal’s ear and some of the mane can be identified, while the right side is destroyed and only shows a large cutting for the ear. The heavily deteriorated surface blurs the face and muzzle of the beast. Underneath there is a rough cutting which does not, however, reach under the front of the head. On the top of the block is a vertical hole (Ø 2.5, D. 7.5) for the fastening of an element, a vase or the like
