147 EE 10.4.1771. Drawing. Marble. Fragment of a slab in white marble with grey veins. The slab has one preserved edge. The upper surface has been smoothed and has a rectangular cut groove (W. 1.2) running parallel with the preserved edge. The groove may have contained an inlay of another material. Both sides of the groove taper slightly inwards. The lower surface is smoothed but has a quite rough feel. The fragment is generally weathered and worn. L. 11.2, W. 14.4, T. 2-2.1, T. 1.7 (groove)
