K-37. CP 13.796. Unidentified fragment. Fragment of slightly convex body. Fragment height 4.1 cm, width 4 cm, wth. 0.6 cm. Fine fabric with large amount of glitter, 10YR 7/4 (very pale brown). Internally glazed, 5YR 2.5/1 (black), externally a slip, 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), with small remains of decoration, 2.5YR N 2.5/ (black), apparently two friezes separated by a line. The representation cannot be identified with certainty, but the remaining foot of the upper animal seems to indicate a feline; the lower animal was perhaps a deer. Details are indicated by incisions. Parallels: Composition similar to Giglioli-Bianco 1962, ad pl. 3.1-2 (Ital. 1603); Amyx 1988, I, 233, nos. 1-2 (Louvre E 565 and Villa Giulia 50381) with references.
