E-59. CO 3.77. Trench O. Attic Black-Figured Pottery. Open shapes. Unidentified open shapes. Base fragment of open vessel, prob. type A cup. H. 1.4 cm, W. 3.6 cm, Th. 0.3 cm (bottom) – 0.7 cm (foot-ring). Fine, red to light red fabric (2.5YR 5.5/8). Internally, glossy, black paint (2.5YR 2.5/0). Exterior painted black (as on interior), and decorated in faint red (7.5R 4/4) where stem joins bowl. The underside of the base has a reserved bottom, while the walls of the stem are black-glazed. Date: 530-500 BC
