J-230. CR 5.5.211. Drawing. Trench R. Italic black-glaze. Genre 2900. Espéce 2960. Series 2964. Rim of thin-walled, lipless bowl with flaring wall, Ø 14 cm, H. 2.7 cm, W. 3.1 cm, Wth. 0.3 cm. Hard fabric, sparse voids, very well levigated with sparse tiny brown inclusions, 7.5YR 6/4 light brown. Surface treatment: glaze VII or IX, 7.5YR 2/0 black, firm, high sheen, soapy feel. Class: Etrusco-Latial? Date: 200 150 BC. Parallels: F 2964a 1, from Volterra, local or regional, type D
