J-164. CM 1.25.84. Drawing. Trench M. Italic black-glaze. Genre 2600. Espèce 2650. Series 2653. Rim of bowl with flat profiled lip, Ø (interior) 16 cm, H. 3.9 cm, W. 4.7 cm, Wth. 0.4-0.8 cm. Hard fabric, sparse tiny voids, very well levigated with no visible inclusions, iron seems to have gone into the clay, which can be seen at a fresh break, 7.5YR 6/4 light brown. Surface treatment: glaze IV, 7.5YR 3/0 very dark grey, firm, high metallic sheen, smooth though granular feel. Class: Campanian B or very fine quality Etrusco-Latial. Date: 150 100 BC.
