[The Temple of Castor and Pollux (Rome, Italy), Trench B: Coarse Cream Ware, M-93]

M-93. CB 13.5472/5806/5819/5840/5936. Trench B. Coarse Cream Ware. Form 10c. Closed two-handled jar. Plain everted rounded rim. Two rim fragments and three neck/shoulder fragments, all fragments joining. Ø rim 16 cm, wth. 0.55-0.8 cm. Fabric 7.5YR 7/4 (pink); surface treatment: externally a light slip, 10YR 8/2 (white); internally selfslip. Decorated externally with a transparent orange brown band on the rim, neck and lower shoulder and an orange brown stripe on the upper shoulder, all 5YR 5/6 (yellowish red). The vessel appears to have been intentionally destroyed
