J-79. CR 5.7.219. Drawing. Trench R. Genre 1300. Espèce 1320. Series 1323. Rim of patera with broad, almost horizontal flaring lip, Ø 16 cm, H. 2.6 cm, W. 4.4 cm, Wth. 0.3-0.4 cm. Hard fabric, common voids, very well levigated with no visible inclusions, 10YR 6/3 pale brown. Surface treatment: glaze IV, 7.5YR 2/0 black, firm, metallic sheen, soapy feel. Class: Good quality Etrusco Latial or Campanian B? Date: 300 250 BC. Parallels: F 1323a 1, from Rome, local or regional (APE). Notes: Fabric and glaze are similar to Campanian B, however this type has never been documented within the repertoire of Campanian B
