JJ-135. CR 5.1 (CR 85-81). Architectural Terracottas: the Archaic and Post-Archaic Period. Revetment Plaques. Revetment plaque, left side preserved from top to bottom. Plaque bears a tendril and palmette ornamentation, upper edge is straight with rounded crenellations, the lower border is a rectangular profile. H. 15.5, W. 9.2, Th. at relief 3.3. Clay is levigated with red inclusions, in core light brown-reddish (2.5YR 7/6-7/4), surface light brown slip, with grey-yellow tinge (10YR 8/4-7/4). Back smoothed. No colours preserved. The plaque bears rather open palmettes with suspended tendrils between.
