V-24. CP 41.248. Drawing. Ionico-Massaliotic or the so-called Chian, Pseudo-Chian and Roccagloriosa type Tomb 23. Rim with large half-almond shaped lip, Ø (int.) 11 cm, H. 6.7 cm, W. 6.6 cm, Wth. 0.9 cm, Wth.(rim) 1.9 cm. Hard fabric, hackly, common round and moderately large irregular voids, 5 YR 6/6 reddish-yellow. Surface treatment: none, 5 YR 6/6 reddish-yellow, rough feel. Class: Ionic-Massaliotic or so-called Chian. Date: 500-300 BC. Parallels: The fabric fits the description of that of the so called Chian, though possibly finer and the elongated almond lip is unusual. Maybe it is Ionic-Massaliotic, though it lacks a cordon
