JJ-108 CB 13.9664. Trench B. Architectural Terracottas: the Archaic and Post-Archaic Period. Later Archaic Revetment Plaques. Fragment of female head antefix, lower left corner. H. 6.0, W. 6.6, gr. Th. 5.4. Clay is coarse, dark brown with single large black and brown inclusions (5YR 6/6-5/6), in part misfired black. Surface smoothed, with the use of a light brown-greyish coloured slip (7.5YR 7/4, 6/3). For the type of antefix see refs. above JJ-107 - similar to this fr. but more of neck preserved. 550-525 BC
