X-29 CR 1A.9.860. Medieval Pottery. Ceramica Laziale. Rim fragment of small jug with straight inclining upper wall. Ø 7 cm, wth. 0.35 cm. Medium hard fired fabric containing occasional black and red inclu¬sions, 10YR 7/2 (light grey). Glaze 1 on interior 2.5Y 7/2, (light grey). Glaze 5 on the rim and the exterior 10YR 8/1 (white), which has a light brown patina, 10YR 6/4 (light yellowish brow). The over-glaze decoration on the exterior is in dark brown, green and yellowish brown; it consists, below the rim, of three horizontal lines over a row of pear-shaped fruits with stalks.
