JJ-97. Drawing. CA 29.4 (CA 83-12.1). Architectural terracotta. Frieze plaque. Fragment of sima, lower fascia with lower left side with edge and part of tile preserved. Break edge from cavetto along the top edge. H. 8.4, W. 9.3, Th. of fascia 2.2. Clay is coarse with small black inclusions, pale brown (7.5YR 7/3). Fascia bears guilloche pattern, dark brown, light purple (7.5YR 4/2 – 10R 5/3), yellow creamy (10YR 7/3-8/3). The lower edge has a light brown-grey slip, thinly applied, on backside light brown greenish coloured slip. 590-580 BC (Regis III-phrase) ?
